Due to the surmounting concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the latest recommendations by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the CDC we will be suspending appointments starting March 23rd for at least two weeks. We will continue to keep you informed and up-to-date as we continuously monitor this situation.
During this period, if you experience an eye emergency or would like to schedule a telemedicine virtual consult please call us at 703.528-3910 or message us through our contact us page on this website. Our staff will be available daily to check and answer voice messages, and we will be checking email messages regularly. We will be able to schedule a telemedicine or virtual consult for you with Dr. Kotecha on FaceTime or Skype. If you cannot wait until we return your call, please call 911 or seek emergent medical care.
If you have an appointment or procedure scheduled during this period, one of our coordinators will be reaching out to you to reschedule at a later date.
If you do decide to schedule an appointment for a later date please make sure to inform us if you should have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or have traveled extensively recently or came in contact with someone with Covid 19 so that we can reschedule your future appointment.
If you should need to order contact lenses or need medication refills, kindly leave us a message and our limited staff will be happy to assist you with these requests during this time.
We will continue to monitor guidance from the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) as well as the CDC and WHO, in regards to COVID-19 and will update this webpage, you and our schedule accordingly.
