May is officially designated as Healthy Vision Month. It's a time to focus on promoting eye health and raising awareness about common eye diseases like macular degeneration, cataracts, and glaucoma. During this month, the National Eye Institute encourages Americans to get regular eye exams and learn how to protect their vision.
